I never understand comments like this. They seem unnecessarily negative to me, just putting bad energy into the universe. Like, why not just move on and go get one of those other recipes you mentioned? Are there other recipes for free? Absolutely. Often, they will be on websites with ads on them, which is how those creators make a living. Or the videos themselves will have ads (mine do not). For this video, it is on my Substack, which does not have ads. The way I earn a living via Substack is through supporting members who enjoy my recipes and are happy to pay for them. Alas, much as I would honestly love to be independently wealthy so that I could share my recipes and knowledge for free, I have to work to pay my bills. Do you have to work to pay your bills? Now, does that mean you have to pay me to get an English muffin recipe? Of course not. As you said, there are plenty of free options out there. But if you want MY specific recipe, that it is for paying members on Substack. Comments like this are actually the main reason I stopped sharing as many videos on KZbin. Now, most of my work is behind the Substack paywall so that supporting members get even more value, and so that I can do things like buy groceries and pay my mortgage. :)

I have many free recipes on my main site at sunnysidesuppers.com. However, I also create paid content for supporting members and that includes high quality recipes, photos and videos, which are hosted on KZbin. You're welcome to Google alternatives, but yes, some of my recipes are behind a paywall at Substack. I plan to publish many more high quality recipes with great videos that will be behind the Substack paywall.
