Thank you for your great video. Underneath the floor, a network of numerous electric wires can be found. When electric current passes through these wires, it generates a circular magnetic field that envelops each wire. This magnetic field possesses the capability to influence the strength of magnetic and it becomes even more potent as the current flow intensifies.

Thanks for sharing. The question that I do have is how safe it would be driving Tesla with 100KW battery size on a long 4 hour journey. Would there be any health implications for our cells. I know this all falls into long term studies, but I don't see anyone caring about researching these type of things.

Great Video! This is the only video that I've found, which also compares Teslas to other gasoline cars. That's what matters in the end. 💯

Great video. A suggestion if I may. The readings will be high if the Trifield TF2 or any emf meter is constantly moving. Accurate results are seen only when the reader is static at a location for a second or two. The TF2 meter specifically is more accurate in the "standard" setting as opposed to weighted because of its configuration. As to the health risk, it's speculated that Tesla and EVs use high frequency waves (similar to microwaves) unlike the ELF from power lines and electricity in houses which is 60hz. ELF is considered to be more dangerous and has a higher risk to cancer. EMF from high frequency sources aren't as bad as emf from ELF sources as the waves from high frequency sources tend to not penetrate your epidermis unlike with low frequency based emf waves. So that's some solace, but there's no proven safe level of emf regardless of the source. Hope this helps. If you're interested in research papers, I recommend the draper study from the British medical journal

Thank you for your insightful comment. While it may seem that electric cars provide sufficient shielding against EMF and that the type of EMF they emit is generally considered non-hazardous, the critical concern revolves around the potential long-term impacts on our cellular tissue. The question remains whether prolonged exposure could lead to pathological conditions with adverse effects on health. Complicating matters is the invisibility of EMF, making it challenging to pinpoint its effects. We definitely need a heightened awareness and comprehensive, long-term studies to ensure the safety of EMF exposure from electric vehicles

One thing to point out is that there is also a charging event. What happens near the charging handle or what happens inside the car when charging etc

Yep, always wondering also when you see at Tesla supercharger all the folks waiting for the car to charge and either sleeping in the car or browsing in their phone, how really safe that is. A big question

thanks a lot for the feedback. Yes there is shielding around the battery but it doesn't block all the EMF and what I noticed the faster you go you will see EMF levels rise significantly especially at the floor level where the battery is. I will be making some more videos on this topic in the future, including EMF in gasoline cars.

There are thick cables carrying 345 volts, 200 amps and 70,000 watts right under you.
@100miledrive

Thanks for your comment! It's true that the high-voltage system in a Tesla Model 3 generates magnetic fields. While Tesla doesn't release exact specifications, the battery pack typically operates around 400 volts DC. The amperage varies depending on driving conditions, but it's unlikely to be a constant 200 amps, at least that is what I am finding. You're right about the wattage. A 70 kW battery pack could deliver 70,000 watts for short bursts during acceleration. However, during regular driving, the power draw is lower, although on long trips it should certainly be measured for accuracy.

@ThamMalaysia
@ThamMalaysia 2 ай бұрын
@@recklessvelociraptor2579 Extremely low frequency - 0 - 300 Hz. Your house's electrical supply, 50/60 hz,. falls into that category. All electrical appliances - wires, TV, water heater, oven, generate an electric/ magnetic field. And EMF, if strong, is quite capable of causing cancer if you are near it long enough.

Great video and thanks for taking the time especially since I’m going to buy a model 3 RWD. It seems like we are in an age where everything gives us cancer or made to give us cancer, never-the-less, I did find it very interesting that the magnetic field is found to be high as well in non EV cars.

Thanks for the feedback. When I wanted to make this video I anticipated to talk mostly about Tesla and do more research into this topic and expected to see only minor background levels in regular gasoline cars, but then quickly learned that regular cars also have higher levels based on the tester that I have. So there is something in this and I wish we can get more clarity from regulators. Keeping it vague keeps it a gray area. Also I am not 100% sure the levels demonstrated in the tester what type of impact (if any) would have on the human body. Certainly want to see more modern research specifically pertaining electric cars.

@@Jarovball The lowest emf reading I saw in toyota Corolla 2014 diesel. My meter couldn't find any field in any part off this car - I use it for 2 years (work) it was unbelive. On the other hand BMW - there is unourmous amount off accidents with this cars. I take some readings one BMW - everywere reading were behind the scale (20uT) - also in the back. I recomend to by any EMF meter (10 Hz - 2,5 GHz) for few USD and use it before bying any car.

Very good video! You have to mesure in more cars, and mesure also RFs. I have ordered the same meter that you have. Because i want to buy a car, but i want to mesure before, i don't put my daughter in a microwaves. I don't feel very well in the electric cars.

Thanks for the feedback. Overall the more I look into magnetic fields and RFs in electric cars the more I find it to be a Gray area, that covered in some basic terms but without any real attempt to start conducting long term studies. Also no known exposure limits that are acceptable in these cars. I realized whatever numbers I see won't still answer for me whether it is harmful for a human being to be inside the car or it's normal. And with bigger batteries we will see more exposures. I hope to see more clarity on this topic.

@100miledrive I totally agree with you. I will follow the precautionary principle, and I am not going to buy an electric car or a hybrid one. I know that some ice cars have elevated emf, but for me, teorically and in my personal experience, an electric have more.

Thanks for stopping by. I am looking for some credible studies, that are also not sponsored by any car manufacturers. The point is you do see numbers go up when you measure them with a simple meter as the car gains speed, especially on highways but there are no long term studies to say that exposure doesn’t affect our cells.

Ive notoced that you keep on about the 100kw thing. Thats not relevant. Every single thing that uses electricity has the field you are measuring. Ionizing radiation is the problematic field, like a microwave. Electric cars do not produce microwaves. Or gamma rays. Or UV rays. Or Xrays. You are measuring the field from the flow of electrons. Simples.
@100miledrive

Thank you for your insightful comment. You've raised some important points about electromagnetic fields in electric vehicles. While it's true that electric cars primarily produce non-ionizing radiation, which is generally less harmful than ionizing radiation, it's important to remember that even non-ionizing radiation can have biological effects, especially at high levels or with long-term exposure. Isn't it true that there are no long term studies that prove 100% that electric vehicles cause no harm to our tissue or basically health in general. I appreciate your interest in this topic, I hope we can have more awareness about this topic and create more long term studies as well.
