ATTENTION!! Some model Y's don't have the wiring harness as you see in this video. Before you order one of these screens, remove the bottom cover in your car, and see if you have a wiring harness like you see in this video. My model Y is 2023 didn't have one.

Only Model Y without rear center console OBD plug is Standard Range Model Y. I assume you have Austin Built standard Range Model Y. You would have to select the right option on their product page when you buy it.

If you place the fan at 6 it will be the same at front the only difference is that it won't graphically change on the main screen. The same goes for temperature etc. It works the other way around though, when you change the temperature or fan speed on the main display it will show on the rear screen

Very interesting. Because when I tested and increased fan speed at 6 in the rear with display and 1 in the front. The fun blew out at 6 in the rear and still 1 in the front. Thank you for your input and awesome support Andrea!🙏😃

This 7.5-inch screen is very complete and also the aerators are like the originals and do not lose fluid. I have the 7.2-inch one installed and I'm very happy with it too, although I do lose some air flow. Yeah you just turn the fan up in a bag but when you turn the fan up in the back it's going to turn the fan up period in the whole car

Do you mean refrigerator that fits underneath the rear center console air vent from TesCamp? If so that refrigerator won’t with this display as the bigger air vent extends lower to create less space underneath. However the 7.2” display would still fit TesCamp refrigerator underneath. I tested with 2 display connected to one rear center console OBD port and they both worked fine. It’s been a few weeks with no issues so far. We found out model Y made our 4 year old a bit queasy after a couple of hours so I usually have it on chill mode which seemed to help. Hoping the screen distracts them a bit 🤣

Does some one have the "factory password"? It's not in their manual. The 10.25" screen from them also, the "factory password" was in the manual, but can not use it in this 7.5". Bought this one, problem that I have is the time, it's alway 6hours ahead. Manually adjusted, but next morning 6h ahead again. Not much help from the service desk, still no answer from them.

Hey Paul. I figured it out. Android OS has to format the drive (set up) in the settings. Afterwards, you’d see a bunch of folders and files written to the FAT32-formatted flash drive. Copy the videos to the MOVIES folder and it would be recognized by the Local Player. Works great!

Great video and I love the way you explain everything. I ordered this for my 2023 MYLR but I received the wrong kit from Hansshow. The OBD adapter is the wrong size. Unfortunately I've had a lot of difficulty getting in touch with support. I've sent emails, left voicemails, text messages and whatsapp messages but have not received a response apart from the initial email. I'm not sure what to do now as they claim you have to pay for return packaging and shipping as well as restocking fee. As it stands it is unusable so I'm hoping all I need is the right adapter.

@@dadstoyscars thank you for the update. From the Hansshow site I’m reviewing now, it states that for the driver seat, you have to push the left thumb wheel to the left for 5 seconds to turn on. For the passenger seat, you push the right thumb wheel to the left for 5 seconds. My old massager module will need to be removed and then I would use the control module that comes with the display. Is there a way you can check if possible?

@@PejmanKianfar-lr3bs I just tested with TesCamp refrigerator and it won’t fit with this 7.5” rear display. I would suggest to get 7.2” display which will fit refrigerator and the performance is not that big different. Only main thing is the air vent size. I hope this help which your decision.

This is still plug and play display unit which you didn’t have to cut the car original wire and still able to put everything back to its original stage. I don’t think it would void the warranty. It would only void OEM air vent warranty because you remove it. Thank you for watching!🙏

Yeah they don't avoid the warranty but if you haven't air conditioning worked on on your vehicle or climate control issues just take the screen out and put the original back in before you take it to the Tesla service

The obd port at the rear in your previous video has both male and female, but the blue on in the front by the passenger side has only one blue OBD port. The 7.5 inch screen I bought from your first install comes with the harness that has both the white male and female. How do I make it work?

I recently purchased and successfully installed thanks to your video. I was under the impression that the rear screen can control the fan speed and temperature independently of the driver and passenger. When I adjust the fan speed on the rear screen it also adjusts the fan speed for the driver and passenger. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting to correct this?
