I’m gonna show you how to install this on my tesla model 3. It follows a very similar process for the tesla model y. I know this product may not be for everyone, but I like to showcase all kinds of accessories that may fit your lifestyle. I understand that most people may not use the entertainment portion of this new accessory, however the main selling point of this, in my opinion, is to control your heated seat, move the front seat forward, while also adjusting the temperature and fan speed in the back without having to ask the driver. The added entertainment is a perk with the ability to customize it the way you’d like, as this is pretty much an android tablet but hardwired into your tesla. If you have children this might be a nice upgrade for you. You could add bluetooth game controllers to keep the little ones occupied on those long roadtrips.

Thanks for sharing another great Hansshow product, Evan! You said that you were connected to your home WiFi, so what do you do on the road? Hotspot from your cellphone and does the Model 3 or Y have more than one cabin fan because you talked about the product like there was a separate fan for the rear seats? My 2018 Model 3 can only open and close a damper to the rear seats. I am not criticizing your video, I’m just trying to get a better understanding as to what is possible on my 2018 Model 3.

I never had to power down the car. I just unplugged it and it worked fine for me.

According to other videos, the audio connects to the car via Bluetooth (for KZbin video there is a small delay in video vs audio). Or you can connect to Bluetooth headphones instead.

please ensure the connector is fully clipped into position, it sounds like a loose connection.

Plugging aftermarket stuff into the cars Data Bus is not a very wise choice. Hannshow stuff has been known to cause main computer problems.

The previous display they sold directly connected to the computer which caused many problems. But the OBD port is used my many other products to control various functions in the car. I think this shouldn’t cause any problems
