Just an option to add a power pole or whatever else you want to back there. It was the same price as a single so I went ahead and got it in case I wanted to add something later. I've see people mount their lights back there too.

I like that ball mount and carabiner for your motor. I’m using a cleat but it’s a pain sometimes getting it locked in.

Thanks man. Honestly the basic idea came from Greg Blanchard and then I put it together with some parts I already had lying around. Works well though, especially the carabiner because you can attached it to things (like my light pole) when the motor is down rather than it just flopping around in the tank well.

Nah, it’s fine. You just turn in your seat and their easy to reach.
