So far based on the reviews I love the limited trim of the Crown but but for a $50000 car that is supposed to be Toyota's flagship I wish they had a tenderd to 3 simple items. 1. is the HUD, 2. Lack of a blind spot camera which is available even on a CRV, 3. The trunk lid should be on a strut rather than a pribar that you have to manually put in place to keep it open. I hope Toyota will look into the season fix it for the next model year. It is the middle of 2023 and unfortunately I have yet to see a single Crown on the road.

Did you say navigation “subscription” (6:00)? Toyota is charging upwards of $50K for a vehicle, but then charges monthly for features...seems insane to me. Question: Does the Crown have express up and down on all four door windows?

Not sure about it, but I know most Toyotas have express up/down. I’ll try to do another trim and confirm.

Its because they have to pay to update roads so they put that charge on customers who use it. The majority of people will use carplay or android auto

Thanks for the review 🙂 It's nice that the rear seats fold down, rather than having a narrow center pass-through. While I like this sedan, I hope that Toyota brings the Crown Estate (or whatever they want to call the wagon version) to the U.S. Apparently it is confirmed they are bringing a model with a liftgate (I forget what that's called) so I guess we'll see.

@@NothinButCarReviews Yes, I agree - I haven't quite figured out why Toyota brought the Crown in sedan form first (except to replace Avalon I suppose.) I believe that the next Crown coming to the U.S. is called the "Sport," which is quite good looking IMHO.

Ecvt-like in the crown- are just a set of planatary gears and a motor. They are actually more reliable than a regular 6 speed transmission. There are priusi ith over 300,000 on the original transmission. The sound is weird but you get used to it.

i made the mistake of buying one of these!!!!! Uncomfortable, slow, brakes weak, if you are 6ft. tall or taller it is not for you, too small! If you are thin you can not reach the door armrest, the door armrest is also off set from the other armrest! If you put the seat all the way back you run out of door armrest it is too short!!!! What a mess!!! Oh and after spending ten minutes setting my seat up when I turn the car off it makes the seat go all the way back and makes it hard to get out of!!! TOTAL SHIT CAR F OFF TOYOTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DID NOT GET A SECOND KEY AFTER 2 MONTHS!!!! terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is wrong with you. The seat does that on purpose and can be turned off if you don't like it. The car is fine for tall people. When you are driving you really shouldn't be using the door armrest.
