I really wanted to trade my 22 GR86 Premium in for a 23 Special edition however, they want 8k over MSRP. They know I am a cash buyer (Have bought cars at this dealership for many years including my 22). I paid 4k over MSRP on my 22 and was ok with that but I just cant stomach 8k over. The trade in allowance they were going to offer for my tRack bRed 22 was very impressive though, but cant get past the 8k over :/

I got mine $2k over in manual. I called around and could have gotten one for $4-$3k fairly easily in manual. Automatic is even easier to get but you have to call around the minute these become available

The bigger forged rims and GR exhaust are worth getting the SE Orange accents on the interior are also a big plus for otherwise bland black color. Orange color with black duck bill spoiler make the car pop as a sports car should. You don’t want to bland in when driving sports cars you want to stand out plus the car is small so bright color makes it more noticeable.

@@Mr99Burns The forged wheels weigh almost as much as the Premium 18s and the exhaust sounds stock but with a kick. The color and stitching are nice but that's about it, also they give you 2 stickers saying it's a SE but why stickers? Couldn't do a metal plate at least? If you like the SE, go for it but it just wasn't worth it to me for what I was going to do with the car.

Seems to be mostly an issue if you're tracking the car, but yes makes me a little leery even as someone who wouldn't track it. The whole point with a car like this is to have fun...with this issue in the back of my mind all the time, it would take away a bit from the experience.
