V6 will last 400K miles. Turbo 2.4 will last 120K miles and then you need a new turbo that costs 4000 dollars.

I drove a 22 and a 23. No brainer I got the 2022. The V6 not only feels much better but will likely last a lot longer. Toyota made the change because they had to, not because they wanted to. Who wants to be a first-gen adopter of anything?

I have the 2023 XLE and I love it. Including the turbo! it rides so smoothly and yet it seems so light. Me personally, i love the turbo and the extra noise because it sounds like a powerful vehicle and rides as smooth as a feather. I made a good purchase, i am always winning with a Toyota as they dont disappoint. 10,000 miles per oil change is amazing!! Love your reviews Jeff!

You shouldn’t go the full 10k miles though for the oil change.Its not good for it.Do 8k miles at most.
@paulstein92588 ай бұрын
Every 5,000 miles. Please read my comment. Car Care nut explains you need to change the oil every 5,000 miles. Also, let it warm up when cold. Also, let it cool down before shutting it off or the oil in the turbo will boil. That said, I just traded my hybrid Venza in on a 2024 Highlander Limited Turbo. Watched the Car Care Nut videos. One video was on the start stop technology. No gas savings leaving it on. I’m going to shut it off every time I start the car.

Lots of companies downsizing from V6’s to turbocharged 4 bangers, or from V8’s to twin turbo V6’s for “better fuel economy” but the reality is, you’ll only get like 1mpg better gas mileage
@arhamkhakwani58512 жыл бұрын
That's true ngl. But the intention of this turbo was meant for emissions as they say. If the EPA or government regulations hadn't existed, I can garuntee the V6 would still be there a V8 if they went crazy with it.
@toronado4552 жыл бұрын
@@arhamkhakwani5851 Yes. The fuel economy numbers only improve slightly on this, but the greenhouse gas and smog ratings improve more. But... I suspect it's cheaper for OEMs to build smaller engines, and lighter engines improve handling and weight bias.
