This is the hilux I’ve been waiting for, thank goodness it’s here! Love the wider track. Well done Toyota 👏🏼👏🏼.

The wider track and the discs are great, but then Toyota went the cheap and nasty way by adding the nasty stick-on plastic bulges all over this 'improved' Hi-Lux.

I’d take this dated interior over flashy tablet dash design ranger that seems to brake anytime.

Does it come in manual and petrol when will we see it in SA
@bushmagpie33122 жыл бұрын
It seems to be a improvement over other Hilux’s. Still using 10yr old technology and 9 months plus to get one. Next Toyota will add V6 and add $10k putting selling it as a Raptor competitor which no we’re near. Not even in Ranger Wildtrak competitor region. Toyota tax Oh what a feeling, $77k for 10yr old tech.

Hopefully the next gen Hilux will have a electronic steering rack instead of a old hydraulic one, they need to up their game in terms of technology. Love my 2018 rugged X but just wish the steering wasn't so wishy washy and sloppy

Technology impacts reliability
@brenndoloco Жыл бұрын
@@matildacarbon8832 not really, if you don't over complicate technology it can be quite reliable. The Hilux is just falling behind in terms of modern technology. We live in a world with advanced technology now.

Ive been watching these reviews where everyone is losing it over these new Hilux Rogues, you do realise its the width of a Toyota Tacoma in the states and the SR5 models on the Australian market are the Asian width vehicles built for the Asian market. The Rogue will be the basis for the new 2024/25 scoped Hilux or mini Tundra. The Prado, the Hilux and Tundra will be modelled off the 300 series cruiser, everyone losing their bolt over this alleged new wider hilux, its the Tacoma specs from the USA, just on the poor right hand drive cousin specs. Sure the foot print is wider, but the cabin size etc is all the same as an SR5. This vehicle on road in reality is around $80 grand.

Its nice to have all the technology in your car, it feels luxurious, safe and comfortable. But all these technologies will also be a nightmare once it fails. Not only that, most dealership have a very limited idea to fix and its costly. Get a car that is very straightforward and every mechanic knows how to fix it.
