2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro: Everything you need to know!

In this video I provide a deep dive into my personal 2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro. I’ll provide you with everything you need to know about this generation Sequoia. Based on the TNGA platform, this rugged body on frame vehicle shares the same underpinnings at the 2022+ Toyota Tundra, LC300 Land Cruiser, and Lexus LX600.
This is my favorite Toyota I’ve ever owned. Does it have pitfalls? Yes. But overall, it’s fantastic. Love the seating space for my large family… exceptional blend of tech and simplicity. Feels very much like a Toyota still. Even with its new IForce Max twin turbo V6 hybrid powerplant.

We have 3 kids and nothing can beat a minivan for long trips with all the stuff you need to bring. Once the kids were out of their booster seats, traded in the odyssey for an lx 570 and they love how comfy the seats are.

Hello there brother. have you ever driven the 4Runner with kdss? I know you had experienced with Land Cruiser which was standard with kdss. Now if you compare this fox shocks equipped sequoia and Land Cruiser, which was better ride on road? Thanks

Both are exceptional in their own right… for daily driving, I’d give it to the FOX setup… better for handling bumps at speeds. I’d argue KDSS is better for off roading though… Toyota made too which gives me better peace of mind.

"Untamed" -When you can...how does the wireless charger work for you- good/bad/so-so with the fit of your cell? Interested to hear about the Toyota dash-cam- picture quality, how long video is saved, how many minutes can be saved...I know nothing about this feature- I'll learn from you. Thanks!

Hey Jim! It always charges my phone... I'll need to assess how quickly it actually charges it though. I haven't done a long enough drive yet with the Sequoia to determine how well it does at charging. I'll follow up!

I hate camo patterns on anything that isnt specifically field equipment. That being said, I like it a lot on the red interior.

Yeah the camo is certainly hit and miss with most people I've spoken to. I like that it's different from 95% of all other interiors though! =]

Just looked at the sequoia TRD pro at the auto show yesterday. Very nice looking. But the 3rd row and cargo area are a huge swing and a miss for a family. Definitely wouldn't work for us.

Always buy a Pro without any additional option. No rack or roof top, and no running board. Take your time and pimp it as you like.

3 garage buttons on the bottom of the mirror but you are still using the clicker slid over your visor!? Buy you a TRD Pro emblem and add it on the back lift gate then remove the Sequoia lettering if you want…
