@@ChopperChad there's a correlation between the size of vehicles and the amount of pedestrian deaths. It's going up even though the rest of the world has pedestrian deaths going down. I like that you’re 5’11” tall and 6’4” tall in heels. Being 6’7” tall I loved your assessment of the 3rd row seating, very fun! I think this is a solid contender for my next truck based on your review, thanks.

That’s a nice ride. As our family grew we needed a family car but wanted something that was fun to drive. Ended up with Explorer ST which was $54k. At the time the Audi SQ7 was the dream car but too expensive. This thing may have surpassed the Audi, really just comes down to off road/snow versus on road preference. $80k is a lot but that’s a pretty bad ass amount of torque!

Hello to all those reading the comment section of KZbin car reviews. The Sequoia really does look like a capable Sport Utility Vehicle. Not just a upsized car trying to be sporty and a utility vehicle and failing on both counts. The 3rd row may not fold flat but it looks a lot more comfortable than most. That off-road package looks functional not just extra badging and little actual performance. Definitely a package to look into if you want an SUV not just a van with a hood.

"That's not really an assist, that's a free fall." LOL. Well-produced review. If you NEED this combination of capabilities (towing, 3 rows, off-road), this looks like it nails everything. The extra "TRD" branding goes a ways towards jacking up the price needlessly. (Seriously Toyota, give it a rest. Red-painted sway bars don't toughen the truck up any. No one will know they were red in three months...) The performance of that power train bodes well for those who have been waiting FOREVER for the redesigned 4Runner. Assuming of course, Toyota doesn't drop the 4Runnner in favor of the down-scaled Landcruiser variants.
