I got my RS (in cosmic yellow) two weeks ago and absolutely love it, I changed from my 2020 RS but can't believe the improvements Triumph have made to what was already a great bike, the handling is sharper but still planted and the shorter gearing makes low and mid range acceleration more peppy, I do agree with you about changing the corsa v3 tyres, they'll be fine for the summer in the UK but I'll be changing to Pirelli Diablo rosso 4s for the winter.

That's wonderful. I found the Michelin Road 5's quite well suited for Indian roads and weather conditions.

Youve hit the nail on the head with the rough pot holed indian roads and how forgiving the suspension is on the R. I think a adventure type twin would suit the market well, built simply, simple tech easy to work on and very reliable. I liked the look of the competition off road bikes in the usa a few years ago. They really hit the nail on the head with those. Except make it in 2 guises. First for competition and the other detuned, steel frame very strong with basic cheaper parts like nissin brakes, simple forks and wheels and simple electrics. That way at £5600 for a basic 500cc bike in the mould of the original tiger cub trials in the 60s with a modern engine would be good as in yamaha XT500, Suzuki DR650 or the Norton Atlas they were designing whilst Garner owned them. There were some good ideas there, shame he was a crook and belltip.

They're very similar in terms of performance and one would find it quite hard to tell the difference in power on the street.
