1979 Kawasaki KX 250 beautifully built twin shock air cooled two stroke. 1980 KX 250 first year for Uni-Trak. 1982 KX 250 first production front disc brake. I bought Bel Ray MC - 1 by the gallon. My bikes back in the day. There’s just something about the old air cooled two strokes. Kawasaki racing green 🏁color.

That has to be about the worst race start EVER. Too bad we didn't get ANY commentary about the race, at least MXA gave better coverage than Dirtbike mag did, they had some commentary but only covered the first 4 riders. Does anyone know where I can see some REAL coverage of this event?

This is how racing should look and sound. Can someone explain to me how 4 strokes got involved? They sound silly and not on the pipe screaming like the two strokes. They also had to increase the engine size almost double to make them as fast as a 2 stroke. It causes confusion among new fans in the sport not knowing what’s really going on. Do they have an 80 class, 125 class,300 class,350 class,400 class,450 class? These guys really screwed this sport up and it shows with no fans at the races at all. Most unorganized sport I’ve ever seen. No point system for the amateur riders to get a ranking in their state. What a joke
