Real world desert riding range test on the new 2023 Husqvarna TX 300 (Much the same as the KTM XC 300)

Rode much of that same track with a small group a week or so ago. You’re welcome for all the tumbleweeds stomped into the mud-hole in the slot arroyo! Thought it was gonna swallow us up! Husky sounds mean, but I’m still digging my YZ250FX. 😎 See ya in the desert!

Thanks! The motor feels crisper and has a wider range compared to my 18' 300 suspension feels better too :)

What mileage did you get on a whole tank

I only ran 37.26 miles one this ride using up 1.25 gallons. Stay tuned I plan to do a full to empty video soon.

i have a 21 tx300 tpi and it gets 70-80 miles on the stock 2.25 gallon tank - just for reference

@@sacredgarden1683 Thank you for the reference, I was getting a little better on my 18 300 with a lectron. I expect the TBI is more in line with the TPI.

@@explorin7493 I’m curious if the myKTM module would allow you to lean it out and get more range. If they ever produce them again

@@Tsxtasy1 I couldn't say but my mileage does seem to be increasing as it breaks in.
