2023 Volkswagen Tiguan sel R-line has 3 BIG CONS :All Specs & Test Drive

I have a 2022 SEL and after driving the vehicle for about a year I feel it just needs to be broken in. My Tiguan drives get and gives me decent power. I have no problems passing people or switching lanes.

Great review! It’s a shame that VW didn’t address the performance issue, especially when they have more powerful 4 cyl turbos (GTI, Arteon). Otherwise it’s a nice, composed vehicle.

My r line 73 plate ..tdi is the worst harshest ride ive ever owned ..its had new steering rack recently at 9k miles ..and i was cinvinced the suspension was faukty its that harsh of a ride ..i hate driving it tbh ..so ive ordered the 2024 r line tdi 194bhp awd ..lets pray the new upgraded suspension is better 🙏

You mention the CRV which has one big downfall.. the CVT. I went from a Civic to a Jetta because I could not take the CVT.

My DSG and S-Tronic both has a very hasrsh "kick" when switching from first gear to second...

I went and test drove the Tiguan. The only fault was merging onto the Interstate the Turbo hardly did much help. The Jetta Turbo goes from 40-60+ in less than 2 seconds. My Jetta has 6 months left on the warranty, will have to think hard about getting the Tiguan.
