Lots of beautiful waterfalls. I've been thinking of doing a road trip to check out waterfalls in North Carolina. There are so many of them.

There are literally hundreds in this area including nearby upstate SC, GA, and eastern TN. The Brevard NC area would be a great place to begin.

@@waterfallrich can you recommend some of the biggest ones in North Georgia and North Carolina. I'm planning to do the waterfalls tour sometime in October, and of course sharing it on my channel 😁

@@FollowThomas I think the tallest one in GA is Amicalola Falls which I haven't been to yet. Minnehaha Falls is a good one also. This is a good site for more GA waterfalls, but he includes ones that are off trail - www.gawaterfalls.com/ For NC, Whitewater Falls is the tallest at 411' and is gorgeous with good fall color and water flow. Of course that's always a crap shoot from year to year. Just up the road (281) is Rainbow Falls at 125'. The trail begins in Gorges State Park, but crosses into Pisgah National Forest. Here you will find more waterfalls in the Pisgah with a lot of them being closer to Brevard and some off of the Blue Ridge Parkway - www.ncwaterfalls.com/pisgah1.htm
