nah, it was a year of learning, Oner was know for his aggresive picks, now after a year of training he show off his poppy sejuani an rell, this is like the story of faker 2015 all over again, faker was know for his dominance in mid but when the meta shifted for control mages specially azir, they bench him, is not easy to adapt to what ur team and the meta need, but Oner did it, it took him 1 year, but he did it.

And 'unironically' if Chovy didn't choke, you could argue Faker is the 4th best mid-laner at this tournament. With Knight being also arguable. Absorb agrro from the frontline so Zeus can kill the back line. Oner defo does more but Zeus being a 1v9 machine is just so pivotal to their game plan and the fact that he really did 1v9 almost every games helps too.

Every single member of JDG got exposed that series and Dom is still coping trying to find a way to explain away how the Golden Road team got smurfed on by a T1 that was struggling this entire year to do anything. T1 got stomped 3-1 in spring to GenG, lost to JDG at MSI and got stomped again by GenG in Summer 3-0. It looked so fucking back for T1 going into Worlds as a T1 fan. I expected them to at least make Quarter finals but I knew from there on it would be have to be hard fought victories to win. Instead T1 3-0s LNG, then 3-1s JDG and the only close game was game 3.

To your questions at the begginin of the video, the answer is simple. This roster without Faker looked like trash in LCK, they went like 1-7 in Bo3 and lost twice against last place team. Also Oner played like shit for good part of the year. So it's natural to praise Faker more, he's like an in-game coach and also one of the best mid laners right now even if not the best mechanically
