I have been waiting for 2 months and on order. Will be in 5/12/23. Can't wait. I have been riding since A teen I am now 65. I had and recently sold my Honda Valkyrie of 20 years and loved it. But life changes, I don't ride out of state trips no more and I own wooded property, and bought it for erands,short trips and DR. appts. First bike I owned was A 69 BSA. First new bike was A 1979 Suzuki TS250, I loved it Got me to work during the week and back roads and trails on weekends. So am I stupid for going down instead of up? Like I said LIFE CHANGES. This is A better fit.

@@lazypug13 Got it and love it!! I got it at A different dealer about 145 miles away. They got 2, sold 1 and I bought the other. The Purcase price I got it for was $4798.00 The other dealer that never produced one was 5298.00. I got it at J and J Motors in Massilon Ohio, same place I got my Valkyrie 20 years ago. GOOD PEOPLE!!! Iam Happy !!!!!!!!!!!

I owned a TS250 as well. Fun two stroke street bike. Last of its kind I guess. Very pitchable. Like riding a powered bicycle. fun times.

That bike was sold for almost 20 years here in south america. Here it´s called XTZ 250, and yes.... it have a very reliable engine. His competition is the Honda XR 250 Tornado.... wich is a pretty old bike too. But ultra reliable, even more than the xt or Xtz250. Both are iconic motorcycles in this segment.

I'll take the China KPX 250 over this bike and I thought I'd never say that about a China bike. This bike is too expensive. Many of the features this bike has are on the KPX 250. Plus the KPX has a 6 Speed transmission and inverted forks. This Yamaha is a great bike, I'm a huge fan of Yamaha, huge. I've owned Yamaha since the late 1970's. Huge fan. I just think it's time we get competition across the board folks. From where I get my meat in the USA to where I get my motorcycles. We need competition to reduce inflation. Inflation is coming from corporations reaping massive profits since the pandemic. You want to point the finder where inflation is coming from, it's the sheer FACT we have little to no competition in all markets.

This is by far the ugliest dual sport on the market. Every other manufacturer has left yamaha in their dust. Kawasaki has set the bar much higher in looks and performance .
