2024 03 23 Laying Workers Part 2

It is time to check in on the hive we suspect may have laying workers. We hope to find a queen, a queen cell, eggs laid appropriately, or anything that might indicate this is a viable colony.
We have been keeping bees since 2016. We are hobbyist beekeepers who started out with 2 hives in our backyard. After about a year, we discovered how quickly a colony can become too defensive to be kept in a neighborhood. Now we've got our bees outside of town on 10 acres.
Even after 8 years, we consider ourselves as newbie beeks, and we learn new things every season. The videos are mostly for our own consumption, but if you are watching, you are welcome to watch and we hope you find them informative.
