The truth lies somewhere between this and the X Doomsayers. Conceivably we could be in the relegation zone by the international break and with Watford away looking very tough, Hull at home is starting to look like a game that getting something from will keep us out of the bottom 3 before the break. With key players hopefully returning to fitness after the break it’s going to take a few weeks for them to get match sharp & playing 90 mins. All of a sudden we’re in the Christmas fixtures and the January window opens. League position could have a big impact on what pond we’re fishing in during the window so whilst I understand your derision, these games will have a wider impact than just the points that are won or dropped. On the flip side 6 points and we’d be back up around 12th😅

I'm not sure, it will be another tough game, Preston are solid at home, Coventry are our bogie team. I'd take 4 points but would prefer taking 3 of those points from Coventry, since we never beat them.
