It’s so refreshing to hear someone say they are a bit nervous how things will work out and not make it sound like they have it all together! We’re all just trial and error-ing our way to a hopefully coherent education 😆♥️

Thank you! I definitely don’t have it all together 🤣

I've definitely over scheduled for the year. I'm going to try my best to just let it flow how it's needed to and it will be done when it's done. It's nice to hear that I'm not the only one who is unsure of how everything will pan out.

We can do this!

I am impressed with your planning! I like the idea of highlighting areas they will be working with you. That really helps to visualize your time requirements. Not this upcoming school year, but the following is when I plan to split my two older kids. Due to their ages it just makes more sense to split their work. I look forward to seeing how it works for your family and please share any tips you find along the way. I too am nervous for that upcoming change.

I count our ADHD work as health lol so I didn’t have to add yet another subject. Because I feel your nervousness every year that I’m doing too much. I don’t think you are, but I understand your feelings. So, one year I’ll do health with like nutrition, exercise, etc. And then other times I do his ADHD work as health instead.

@@sarahmogus9464 Thats a great idea! I think he’ll actually finish the Harcourt health in less than a school year so maybe I’ll have him do the ADHD book first and then when he finishes that he can start the health textbook. Thanks!!

@@TheMommaLibrarianno problem! I know how it is to add more things on to an ADHDer. Lol. I am one myself, too. Short and sweet and to the point lol.

Looks great! Hang in there! It’s understandable that such a big shift is nerve wracking. Noise canceling headphones are a great idea.

Hello from another Cara from Ohio. I would like to use the Gallopede - I sent an email with interest. Do you know how long it takes to get a response? Or how to get the books faster?

@@cbranson4654 the teachers guides are an added expense but if you want answer keys and can afford them, I would suggest getting them. It might make it easier on you to have them, especially being new.
