We spent about 30 minutes on kindergarten today! This was on our curriculum, specifically (My Father’s World). But we definitely learn throughout the day as well, doing other miscellaneous activities 😊.

What do you do if they just don't want to do school

Great question! This question is probably different for everyone, but for us…my kids know that they have to get through their Homeschool Planet checklist each day before they can have “free time” or “screen time”…so they’re pretty motivated by that. It’s not an option for them not to do school. Because we’ve got those rules and boundaries in place, it hasn’t been a big issue for us. Yes there are some days they don’t WANT to do it, but there’s usually something behind that (lack of sleep, whatever) and whatever the problem is depends on how we work through it to get things done 💜.

@@blessedhomeschool It's best to just get it done. Then the kids can have the remainder of the day to play or do whatever. Then they don't have to worry about school the rest of the day.
