How do I get the B natural to Bb to be more natural when I’m playing? It sounds very forced.

Whenever I play B natural to B flat on the staff, I try to use resonance fingerings (right hand down or similar) to keep connections as smooth as possible. Air support is crucial as well and I pay attention to this when I'm warming up on scales and thirds before I work on other music. If the B natural is feeling particularly resistant and it's been a while since the clarinet has had a tune up, you may want to also check with your repair technician to make sure one of the lower pads is not leaking. I hope that helps, happy practicing!

In measure 44, how do I go from the C to the G#?
@ChastineHofmeister2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately there's not an elegant solution to this one, you have to jump really quickly from the left hand C (B#) to the left hand G#. I make sure that I'm lifting the C and leaving some space to give myself enough time to slide the left hand pinky quickly enough.
