Lazy people do lazy things. 1st for Purdue is likely right. Purdue lost 3 players but is loaded. Nationally they always get underrated in last 10 yrs ...shoot even further back. Id say 8th at least. MSU is not that good, Izzo losing his ability, no one wanting to go or stay. I was a UCLA fan going back to 67, they are gonna be high and have a interesting play ability vs BIg Ten which will be alot more physical for a season.

Why are we riding Purdue so high next year? Like really top ten? Edey elevated every player on last years team and now they are loosing him and replacing good seniors with freshman

I truly don’t understand. Why these guys think Braden Smith is going to carry this Purdue team to a final four is crazy. Purdue has been good, but not dominant unless they have a lumbering 7ft+ center who’s an all American.

Purdue has a lot of freshman coming in, but they'll start at most 1 freshman. People are riding them high because of TKR, Smith, and Loyer returning, and projecting Heide and Colvin to take a leap after freshman year and having more prominent roles

@@evang6974 because they play at a snails pace. If your best player is a guy who can’t get up and down the court and your offense is predicated on that player you’ll make it work based on that players pace. Purdue’s offense is dump the ball low, get a layup or a foul, and then kick out if that doesn’t work

Smith will not have near the assist numbers without Edey. Torvik is NEVER accurate until mid January. Illinois at 16? That's crazy stupid. If they give Painter crédit for his résumé, they should do the same for Brad. The problem for the Illini is, they have nobody that can Jam it in the hole like Shannon did.

Was bummed you didn't talk about Nebraska more. They don't have any BIG names coming in with the WOW factor. But if you look at the overall roster, there is a big upgrade in terms of talent rating. But, they'll have to prove that they are better this year.

I understand nationally the feeling is the Illini lost a lot and people aren't sold on what the have brought in so far. 16th out of 18 teams sounds crazy as hell though for what Brad has done since he's been there year after year has improved by at least a game every year.

Illinois and Penn State will be higher than what that guy projected them to be. Northwestern and USC will be lower. UCLA, Indiana, and Michigan State will not be in the top 4.

Lmao Illinois is way better than them at basketball I would argue Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Indiana, and Purdue will all be better than UCLA. They'll be lucky to be better than Rutgers

bruce thornton absolutely cooked your boy braden smith last year at OSU. zed key rightfully got a lot of credit for that upset, but thornton dominating his matchup is why OSU won

Minnesota lost two top 50 transfers and another to the NBA, and none of the replacements are close to that. MN only finished tied for 9th last year. So I can see why you are saying they are overrated at 17th. Unless their coach ups his game they could be epically bad. They play Wake Forest and Florida in a tournament early in the non-con where we will find out what they got.
