@brmh16678 ай бұрын
To be honest, as long as IMSA is generous enough to let us see it I am also happy. The shorter wait is most welcome though, and gives IMSA the chance to compete with more topical events. Shame about that classic, Lime Rock Park. I would love to see that come back. Don't make it too easy for the golf course pushers. please. Lime Rock is a mini-Nurburgring.

@@brmh1667lime rock park is one of my absolute favorite race tracks on this planet! People finally have to stand up against those fascist old bullies who want to destroy this amazing tracks! It’s already insane they aren’t allowed to race on Sundays! The USA is such an unfree country, where citizens have very few rights and the government has more laws and rules against them than any other first world country has! Nowhere in Europe some racist old people who moved there AFTER the track was build could forbid anything! That’s why you still have all the amazing tracks in Europe, because there citizens have real rights and freedom! In the USA it only counts how much money you have, the courts only care about the highest bidder, not the righteous solution. Look at what is happening to Laguna Seca, they are destroying it too! Or the best track the USA ever had, Riverside International Raceway! Some disgusting rich land developers bribed local politicians and built a stupid soulless mall on the racetrack! Never ever would this happen to a track in Europe! Fight back for your rights, the USA needs a complete overhaul of its courts, the police and the whole political system. The USA is NOT a democracy in its current state! It’s an oligarchy run by huge corporations and individual billionaires. Even on the local level the vast majority of politicians are rich people forming their communities in a way that it perfectly caters to only the rich. Us people that earn some decent money, but still have to work for it are seen as scum. The only reason those people want to interact with us is to manipulate us to shill for them and vote them. The USA is a failed state!

@johnlawrence31708 ай бұрын
The reason the audio mix has such minimal ambient sound is because this is the audio that is also played over the loudspeakers / PA at the race track, and the last thing you need is vehicle engine sounds blasting over the PA while actual engines are blasting around the racetrack. It would be nice if they could have a separate videostream mix with some ambient sounds though.

You don't have to pick just one. F1, WEC, WRC, driftmasters in Europe. IMSA, Indycar, American Rally Association Championship, Formula Drift and Nascar(some people don't realize that half of the schedule is road and street courses) in the states. Super GT, Super Formula, All Japan Rally Championship, and Formula Drift Japan in Japan. And that's just for cars! There's all the baja truck series and moto & dirt and everything else. I feel as though IMSA's incident calls have been worse in '24 than before. Certainly I don't understand how the GT was to blame in the hairpin. What would any driver have done differently, surrounded by prototypes?
@Dethmeister7 ай бұрын
1:26:17 He should have stayed in his lane on the outside, behind the prototype he was following. Look at the angle he enters the corner at. It looks like he's trying to block one prototype Porsche while also dive-bombing the other Porsche prototype in front, which makes no sense. Besides that, he didn't brake soon enough so he hit the one he was dive-bombing. Then he just stops in the middle of the track, though he might have stalled. Now one thing that may explain it is that GTD cars seem to enter that corner differently than the prototypes. Maybe the GTD's just can't take that same outside line, swinging out wide like the prototypes do. I don't think that's the case though.
