First I saw the layout which looked like a boring uneventful lap with no good corners or flow, then I watched this and was struck by how narrow the track is, and now I was just thinking how physically UGLY this track is. @@IDeltic glad somebody dared to say it, I do still like both john and jeremy but over the years it has seemed to me that most of the broadcast time is spent with john making errors and jeremy correcting most of them. That dynamic was seemingly already there when I first started watching years ago. It can get a bit tiring especially when john thinks something unusual is happening and gets loud before calming back down after realising there was in fact nothing special going on. Though I have to say about jeremy as well that every once in a while, for some reason, he manages to make the strangest call one could imagine about an incident, as if it was a weird lapse of his normal sense of what's going on and who can be blamed for what.

And Acura won’t see LeMans again, despite being among the top of the field. Honda needs to get their act together and approve HPD’s efforts on behalf of the brand. No reason for Albuquerque and Delatraz to be in LMP2 when they could be fighting for a podium for a manufacturer that could be on top in F1, Indy, and IMSA/WEC. None.
@kevinterry644428 күн бұрын
It baffles me to this day that they didn’t attend in 2023 when it was apparent that the Acura had an advantage after Daytona. Going into 2025 and forward the Lemans hyper car field is going to be huge, so they’ve minimized their chances of participation and to be at the front of the field significantly.

@@cobrafan427 agreed but that makes it “NOT A RACE INCIDENT” but a clear violation which I would have agreed with. Rieberas clearly wasn’t there enough to make that pass in that tight left corner so he still had some responsibly AC wording to the rules. So someone should have gotten a penalty even this late in the race. Their lack of consistency is what I’m calling out. That Lexus should have been penalized too if memory serves for punting the Vette off or the Vette penalized for moving in breaking zone as well. Just saying.

The lexus hitting the corvette was corvette's fault. The lexus driver's move was ambitious but he was there by enough and it did not seem like a ridiculous dive bomb by any means. The lexus had earned the right for racing room but was not given any. Riberas's move did seem like an awful divebomb but the way I see it, the incident could have easily been avoided if kirchhöfer had not made the dumb move reactively under braking. Had he stuck to the rules which specifically prohibit that kind of a move, I think he could have been fine.
