Really cool, that you go step by step and do all the mods by yourself. I also think the front end is the worst part of the car. Not enough feel, a bit indirect and you need to wait for turns / go slow into the corner. But that is with the stock tires. I think really light wheels with the Conti SC7 will be a big plus for responsiveness. Square wheel setup makes no sense to me. Maybe you wider, but there is too much grip on the rear... Keep it coming

Glad you like the vids! Yeah its very different feeling then my Supra and other cars. But I think these made a good difference and some other things I can do will tighten it up!

As mentioned in the replies, a square setup changed the handling a lot. I have an 8Y as well with full bolt ons including the same springs you have. I went with 19X9 Square and am loving it. I will definitely get these swaybar endlinks as well. Love your content.

Oh nice! When our tires wear out I'll definitely look into a square setup! Different offset tho I'd assume front to back?

I would recommend the turbo inlet elbow for the RS3 as well. It is only out for 8V but Iroz Motorsports sells an adapter for it. It makes the intake sound even better.

@@ryanb8736 which ones did you choose or how much stiffer? For the 8Y RS3? I also wanted to change these first as I otherwise like the stock adaptive suspension. Did they help also for turn-in understeer or just general/mid corner?

Great to see the improvement with the handling! Zipties get a bit of a bad rap, but after spending years using the plastic push tabs.... If you can make the zipties look good and work well, I'll use the zipties. Haha

Hey brother any input would be awesome, I installed lowering springs on my 8Y and my steering wheel was to the right, took it in for alignment 3 times now for alignment and obviously to straighten when and they have failed to straighten it all 3 times now. I’m over taking it to them at this point. I watched your video you made on fixing this issue you had on your 8v S3. Is it the same fix on the 8y?
@BrosFOURRSpeed7 ай бұрын
Should be the same fix. Take a look at your tie rod ens and determine which way they need to be turned. I did this fix on my Supra as well. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqe5nZWbetCJnJo

Hi there do you think the front tires size would fit in the back without rubbing? Is there any way of measuring that?

I forgot to mention without no spacers, so do you think they would rub if I had no spacers? in other words, just as a way to get the tires a little more flush with the car
@BrosFOURRSpeed7 ай бұрын
I'm not too sure to be honest. I've heard people running square setups on these cars. But needing 10mm spacers up front to get the fronts flush. So not too sure.

If you put everything on here to fix the handling, would you still take the Supra over the rs3?
@BrosFOURRSpeed7 ай бұрын
Supra is still inherently better in turns. But more direct of a sportscar vs a performance sedan. RS3 shines in its acceleration, launch and practicality. But is still very fun in the turns.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I’ve had my 18 since new. Longest car I’ve ever owned and don’t think I’ll get rid of it. It’s such a unique vehicle with its amazing drivetrain and sound. It’s my favorite daily cause it’s fast on back roads and on the highway. On-Ramps are a blast with how much speed you can achieve in such a quick time. Best part is how it acts in bad weather. Nothing phases these cars. They just stick and go. Very nimble too. The sound is so unique. Only thing that sounds like them are the V10’s in R8 and Lamborghini Huracan. Same family and design. I remember the Group B rally days when the 5 cylinder AWD were killing everything with V8’s till they got banned. So happy to see Audi bring these to America in 18. Many of us wrote to Audi for years to bring them over. It’s a very special car to some of us die hard car guys. I plan on keeping it and getting a Lotus Emira next. Perfect combo.
