2024 Batch codes & reformulation info for DIOR Homme Parfum

Most reviews agree that after 9 months of maceration (or actually maturation) the new batches smell identical to the original 75ml which has a dark leather note.

What you are saying certainly matches my experience. In fact, I am one of those reviewers on Fragrantica who reported buying a new bottle 18 months ago that had been produced only two months prior to me picking it up at the airport in Paris. Initially I was very unhappy with its weakness. But six months later it had matured into the exact same scent as the one in my original 75 ml bottle. It only makes sense, because to that point at least, Dior Homme Parfum had never been reformulated. I know this because the formula codes (not batch codes) on my new and old boxes are the same.

I managed yesterday to find a third backup bottle, it'll arrive tomorrow, and I'm on the Dior website waiting list in case it becomes available again I'll buy more, it's that good! It's the most classy leather fragrance of all time! A niche fragrance disguised as a designer one! I'm anxious to see how my backup bottles will smell next year after 12 months of storage in a cool dark cupboard ✨😌

I agree with this. My bottle is 3M1X. I got it late March and I have been using it ever since. At first it smelled very irisy but now after 9 months of being open and macerated, it has a very prominent leather note combined with a potent rose. The oud is noticeable as well. The performance is definitely really good and it lasts 14+ hours on my skin.

@@alpaybyrktr I noticed that too 💯 it gets darker & more potent 🖤 apart from the new gem 💎 that I came across (Hard Leather by Laurent Mazzone, which was so good it even replaced Tuscan Leather as my signature scent, & I can't wait to review it 🤩) DHP is the longest lasting beast mode fragrance of all time!

Hi bro... If you look at the formula code... Dior put it it tha bottom right corner of the ingredients list on your box..it will be 08642/A .its the same formula code as the older 75ml bottles...dior have not changed the formula yet in the parfum version.. So definitely nothing to worry about... As you said the bottke is young and needs time to mature

True that. You must have this one, even if you're nt a big fan of leather based perfume, because the leather used in this is smooth, hardly any skankiness.

@@ilikokherodinashvili2499 mmmm to be honest it's difficult to say... It might became slightly darker, or maybe that's my imagination... But I think it needs at least a year to be able to tell the difference....However, in terms of performance this is hands down the most beast mode of all time! It even beats all my Memo Paris leathers, Tuscan Leather and Acqua di Parma Leather. It's a true beast!

Just bought it 100ml 4G02 smells amazing + I had empty bottle of the 75ml batch. I would say they are identical. Let's see the longrvity but after only 2 sprays 3 hours smell is still strond and has classy projection.

I bought three bottles in 2023. I have the feeling that Dior will either revamp or discontinue their fragrances because of the new perfumist. This is happening industry wide. Get your favorites while you can before the recession and market crash.

@@shmoopiebear I totally agree with you 💯 I have one almost full 100ml and two sealed backup bottles and I want to get at least one more. I heard rumors that the new perfumer Francis Kurkdjian will reformulate DHP, and as always is the case with reformulations it won't be good. Also like you said there's so much uncertainty in the world so it's better to stock up 💪🏻 😎

@@mianmanzoor9063 yes actually all fragrances that are sold are already macerated before they hit the shelves, but then the process of maturation starts, but people use those terms interchangeably 😊

Well, now it definitely got reformulated as there is a new 2024 version coming out. Back in a 75 ml bottle but different looking then the old 75 ml bottle. New formule code is N°18998 and it has Francis Kurkdjian as perfumer.

Yes me to, the rumours are true, I just ordered a new sealed 75 ml second hand, the packaging material looks like that from Abercrombie Fierce. I let you know how it smells. Dior indeed has yet to change it on it's website. Yeah that would be good, I think it will definitely smell different but the question is how much different.

Got it delivered. It is a different perfume, still has iris though, but more in the background. I smell alot of cumin to. It is warm, spicy and a bit sweet, definitely cold weather only. Very strong, but not as strong as DHP 2014 (surprise), atleast as strong or stronger as the 2020 version though. I don't really like the opening, the mid I like and the base I like the most. It's between a like and love for me now. Batch is september 2024, might need some extra maceration. Projection and longevity really good. Bottle is alot smaller in width, hight and length as the old 75 ml DHP funny enough.

Doesn’t matter which batch you get 😂 I’ve got both and after just 2 weeks they were identical ,also Americans need to get some English friends asap to send you the parfum as it sells as a standard over here 🫡
