I really enjoy your reviewing style, but yo yeah, the OG Dior Homme line kinda brought me to the point of streamlining my collection. Homme Original, Homme Cologne, Homme Intense just slap for smoothness, likeableness, and versatility. Even on occasions where I’ve accidentally over-sprayed, I never get negative feedback. They never feel wrong and never give me a headache unlike a lot more “interesting” perfumes out there. I kinda hated the Parfum, the 2020, and the 2021 Sport flankers, though. If I wanted a headache inducing ambroxan bomb, I’d go straight for the Sauvage line, but as a rule I steer clear of ambroxan-heavy formulas.

You should have smelled it back in 2012. That's when I smelled it first. I've loved it ever since. Try the Dior homme Parfum. It's more polarizing. But I love it too. I like it after trying it for a few days.

consider pegasus/ pegasus exlusif from pdm sometime, it's a really unique metallic powdery vanilla almond scent with some florals. one of pdms best imo

You need to try Maison Crivelli Iris Malikhan, dont get me wrong a DHI is masterpiece of its own and many fragrances and perfumers are inspired by that creation by DHI or DHP but there is better today. Iris Malikhan is buttery iris, warm, spicy, little bit fresh and sillage and longevity are wonderful.

I plan to review all of those. I’m not the biggest fan of them Terroni I get the blood iron smell and it turns me off. I really like the other two but not enough to purchase them. Duro is nice but the opening is kind of rough and for leather I prefer Nouveau Monde or Gucci Guily Absolute. Pardon is kind of ‘creamy’ to me and that usually is a turn off my mind perceives it as ‘dull’ best way to describe it. Pardon is unique and well done tho I can see why a lot would enjoy it. I love black Afgano and cuoium and have both.

Couple things: in the Dior Homme line, I like the Original best, followed by Intense- I don’t like Parfum at all. The last 2 times I’ve gotten compliments in this, I was wearing shorts/tee and sweatpants/sweatshirt. I make this scent casual. Prada LHomme Intense is even better in my opinion- but I absolutely love Iris.

I’m not sure why everyone runs to the Parfum being better. They’re too different to compare. For me, I enjoy both but find the intense a lot more wearable and less out of place. I could easily see people preferring either but the intense seems easier to enjoy. Parfum is very specific and kind of out of place in most situations for me.

@@CgScents you’re exactly right. There was never an occasion that I could wear the Parfum, that I couldn’t have worn Intense. I don’t like the rose and Oud in the Parfum, I think. Try the original, because it is about 80-90% of the Intense but even more wearable.

The opinions on DHI is so different from mine that everytime i hear someone talk about it i am like "Are we smelling the same fragrance?" 😆. I cant comprehend how i like Dior Homme Parfum so much but Homme Intense after months of trying the original,clones, clones with twists its barely a 6/10 with a heavy lean to the feminine side for me.

Dior homme Intense is the best of the line. Parfum is good but overrated and one dimensional. People like it cause it lasts forever. DHI is superior in every aspect.

Yeah I have and appreciate both but DHI feels superior to me in a lot of ways. Just enjoy wearing it more overall. Still testing the parfum but it hasn’t won me over as much yet

I wouldn’t say DHI is a particularly interesting or exciting fragrance. I like how smooth, clean, and classy it is it’s wearable and simple. Feels calming. It’s subjective but I value that along side my more interesting options. DHI is just super wearable and nice to me.
