The 2023 video came out right before I started my bearded joirney and it was my gateway to the channel and the bearded side of KZbin in general. I remember being beyond confused with who these companies were and why grave before shave and cremo were not all over the video. It was the perfect thing to open my eyes to what a balm, butter, conditioner, etc. are, and what quality products look like. Since then, I've tried companies that were on the list and loved them, and I've tried companies that were not on the list and I've loved them as well. I never would have tried companies like deadmans, weatherbeard, octane, and many more, without videos like this; and I believe I am all the better for it. Keep it up Dan

Doctor Nick's Amazing Man Stuff truly has the best face wash out there, that butter truly is a magical miracle butter. Since my fiance started the face wash, AND even followed it up as a face moisturizer afterwards, her face has never been clearer and more soft. Wanna go crazier? it has been the best substitute as a MAKEUP PRIMER, yes MAKEUP PRIMER... That she's found. Using it with her makeup has made her application and her coating more smooth and clean than ever. And her dry red and flaky T zone spots are no more. It's the best in my beard too... BUY IT

Dan, this is one of my favorite videos besides 12 days of beardsmess. You did a really great job and I was watching the whole video and saying I use that I use that one, oh I forgot about that one. But there was one company that did not make your list. That is in my list of best oil and butter which is Black rebel beer company. I know that they are not a company that you are working with right now, but they are absolutely amazing. You do amazing work and I appreciate you doing a video that you typically do not like doing. It's greatly appreciated. And yes you will be very pleased with copper John's head shampoo. It is the last thing that I switched to. It truly made the difference!

I was huge fan of Beard Octane, after dropping ginger jamboree from their line I’m gonna have to find another company to go with. Ginger Jamboree is the only scent I ever got along with, that didn’t give me a headache, and just felt light and refreshing.

The top 2 oils for me this year would be EDC (Himalayas) and Black Rebel (Dylan). My favorite butter (we agree on this) would be from Bahawat (Millionaire). The best daily wash I've ever used is from Mad Viking (Valhalla) which just edges out Beard Octane's LCW slightly. I don't really have a favorite conditioner because the ones I use pretty much work the same for me. Live Bearded's body wash, soap, and head shampoo (1880 or Tombstone) are my favorite. Finally, my favorite deodorant is any deodorant from Fable. They all work so well for me. Thanks for the video Dan. I like to see other people's thoughts about their best products of this year.

Hi Everyone! I could use some beard advice from the guru's; I'm going to be in Bali for 3 months soon and it's going to be their rainy season... this means very humid! I'm just wondering what kinds of beard products to get to prepare for a new climate. My beard is short-medium length, I don't grow it much longer than that. The worst wash and conditioner is TBS, my beard feels like a hey bale. Totally strips all moisture out of my beard INCLUDING the Conditioner. I’m surprised my hair didn’t break off.i spent so much money on that company but, this was when I first started my beard maintenance routine but since then, watching your videos and others, I’ve educated myself on what to look for in the ingredients section. I do like FABLE products. But I will definitely try the products you have listed here.

The #8 is just a touch cumbersome given my current short beard. But I could see where it would be beneficial on a 12” beard. I think at last measurement I only had 2-3” of beard

Cold start by beard octane!! I know the soap maker and she is the best in the business, I genuinely believe that (not a figure of speech). Plus, it’s all essential oils!
