I've said it many times before and sticking to my word BMW is the ultimate German brand it introduced technology in the car industry that other brands claimed they were the first to do so. Especially the seven series.

This is officially the most beautiful car I’ve ever seen. At first the front was throwing me off, but it’s grown on me. History has proven the resale on these is horrific, but it sure is awesome!

This would be a great option as a new model i7 (7-Series) but reliability when the standard warranty runs out makes me hesitant, especially with all the new tech. Very tempting but repairs after the 5yr mark would likely be very expensive. Maybe I can hold off until next year as a 2024 model and let some initial bugs be worked out and purchase the extended warranty.

as some very wealthy people thatI have met through various business ventures told me to my face cars are terrible investments, always lease and have good credit...never own a vehicle unless its a super car or a classic model car those tend to retain their value over the years but they said u better have plenty of money to replace the parts on those cars as well.

@Chaz Slater Sounds like good advice for those fortunate, or ambitious, enough to become wealthy. I'm definitely not broke but I'm more at the Lexus and Acura league, keeping the vehicles well maintained, and driving them 300k+ miles over 10+ years. Now I'm waiting to have grandkids to ensure their financial future and educate on financial literacy.

@@chazslater3465 maybe for wealthy it does not matter, but when you lease a car, in summary you're paying more than traditional buy & sell. Only good thing of leasing is that you don't pay everything upfront and you have still your cash available.

it is interesting you say that, I have family members who used to love BMs, but given their most recent experiences, it looks like they will stay away from them for a while. I do like the look over the new S-class, which I think is somewhat boring, especially in the back with those tiny taillights. The previous S-class looks better in my opinion.

BMW's design have Mercedes beat, hands down. Maybe it's just me, but Mercedes seems like the IPhone of the German car brand. They make a few tweaks in its design every now and then, but overall, looks like the same car year after year. BMW has made some major changes to their design and this change is superb.

I really don't like the front and the rear of this car. Doesn't look like a BMW at all. A car as big as this one could be useful for business executives, but other than that I don't see a reason why anyone should buy it. I also don't like the 'glued on screens'. My 2017 G30 also has one like that, and I don't like it. I preferred the screen in my E60, when it 'sunk' into the dashboard. Now, people outside the car can easily see what's on your screen and I don't like that at all.

At least in the US market the new 7-Series is only available with an all-black or with a base-black interior. Deal breaker right there. Black interiors get way too hot in the summer.
