Awesome bike for touring. How did you feel about its size and weight? It seems it’s definitely more top heavy compared to the RS (or more appropriately the RT). Thanks ✌️

Yes in the parking heavier than the RS by about 200 lbs (91kg). However when riding don’t feel it at all. Really agile and smooth. It has reverse gear, so that is helpful in the parking lot.

Would love to try the BMW 1600. The last touring bike I had was the FJR1300.

FJR is a nice bike. You should go test ride a K1600.

It would be an awesome second bike for me. However, I can’t really justify the spend without selling my RS, which I can’t sell. I love it too much.

Floor boards go on the K1600B. Not sure you can put floor boards on a GT or why you’d want to.

It may have 169hp but it weighs a ton. No Ferrari.

Well at least it isn’t as heavy as a Harley Bagger and has a lot more hp. The inline 6 does give it a unique European race car sound.
