Can BMW please put in grill meshing in the front bumper cooler intakes.iv heard of rocks hitting the cooling grills & damaging them,which is expensive to replace.

Agreed. Was a nightmare finding off brand mesh grilles to protect the front and side air intakes. Settled with Zunsport - material is great and helps maintain aggressive look in the front. No thanks to BMW for the research lol

Just got mine. I didn’t know it came with a carbon fiber roof.. I got a sunroof… I can’t believe it but I got the auto. I had a 2020 m340 and I loved my zf8 so it was not even a downside when I got mine

I hear the gear ratios on the automatic better suit public road driving. Manual may be better for track. I have one on order - it will be my daily and some of that involves managing traffic so it’s the auto for me.

when my countryman lease is up late this year. i’m looking at this or the m grand coupe. they seem the same size and just safety better and more features for probably about 100 dollars or so more then what i’m paying now.

Black cars get dirty when someone sneezes 2 states away. They look great in the showroom. Terrible in real life. I bought a new Cadillac CTS-V in black. After just a couple of weeks, I cursed it every time it got dirty which was basically every day.

Got it in black with the stick. Feel really bad for anyone who optioned this in an auto especially if you manage to keep this car for 20 years. Less than 10% will come with a MT.

The ZF is better in every way, that manual isn't very good Before the you're not man enough stuff comes, I drove an FD RX-7 for 18 years and an S2000 after that

Good thing it's not rare and that I enjoy a MT so much, because this is my second most driven of 5 cars. I enjoy running up lots of miles on it. Maybe this fall I'll grab an M4 to go with it with the ZF. No payments of course. I'm sure you have driven both cars extensively. You don't need to apologize to me or worry about what I think of your manhood. Trust me it's not much. I'm sorry your daddy didn't love you enough. @fzr1000981 hello and thank you for taking your Friday night off to address my 8 month old throw away comment. I am so glad my car is not rare because I love running up lots of miles on it. Its so cool letting my son throw it into gear while i push the clutch in. Since I am not a professional race car driver, I am content stirring the gears in my not so great manual gear box knowing that an automatic will do a better job than me. I also actually own the car while you sit around reading about it, and as an owner I don't think I'm missing much by not having an extra 10th of a second. I enjoy the mechanical and engaging experience if thats ok with you. I like mechanical things. Guns, watches, cars, all of these things. The MT also lends itself to interesting conversations with younger people and people who don't even know what an MT is. Do you understand? Out of the 5 cars I own outright, I drive it the second most behind genesis g90 and my Telluride being a close third. I'm sorry you are so upset and don't worry, I won't question your manhood bases on the cars you drive. I definitely do feel bad for you because you seem very upset, and I still feel bad for any one who optioned it in an auto. This isn't the car to put an auto in. To my point, I will probably grab the m3 or m4 soon and option it with an auto. No payment. The only thing I'd do different with my M2 is just skip the carbon roof amd get a sunroof because it's a great daily. Have a great Saturday night getting mad on the internet and good luck with your car collection.

Are you saying the last manual was better? If so, you’re 💯 wrong. I owned a 17 M2, 20’ M2C, and an M2 CS all with manual and the G87 M2 absolutely has a better manual. Granted, it’s still not even close to the best manual’s I’ve owned but they did improve it by giving it shorter throws and giving it more resistance compared to the lifeless feel in the last generation cars

As a new 2023 Supra 6MT owner I will agree and disagree. Yes better if you like to stay stock with your cars. The smiles per gallon in a 6MT are priceless. If you like to upgrade, modify or increase power no it's not better because it costs more for a new clutch and proper upgrades. Nonetheless both good options. Automatic just makes it less exciting

Aftermarket grill meshing already. I doubt bmw will ever make it
