I like this look. More aligned with the nomenclature (inline with X4 and X6) and I like the lines. The inside looks stylish and the engine specs seem good. Overall, BMW did a good job.

You have to have a true hatchback car to define it as a 'hot hatch'. This thing is 7+ inches longer than its predecessor, which was an actual hatch/hot hatch. Currently X2 is a crossover taking the place for the X4 moving forward since it's going extinct.

It's WAY bigger than the predecessor, (+7" longer) & that's not a good thing. BMW had a true hatch & then got rid of it for another version of the X4 & X6 (style wise). They really screwed the pooch in regard to this thing's size. I don't know anyone that had an F39 gen X2 that's happy about it, including the president of the BMW CCA's X-Chapter, whom went from the F39 chassis to this U10. Drives fine, is screwed together fine but does not cover any hot hatch bases like it used to.
