2024 BMW X2 M35i - Review

I think BMW engineers and designers are genius. Just like with the newer grills, it will grow on you in due time. I personally think it looks excellent. Well done BMW.

Can’t stand the new grilles, I think the only thing they grow on is the face of the car like herpes. But this new X2 looks magnificent and the M35i especially looks far more upmarket than it actually is. Looks like an Urus competitor or something. Definitely more striking than the more expensive Porsche macan. I usually don’t like SUVs much but this seriously might be my next car

I like this new X2 design. Previous generation was not a good looking car in my opinion. This is definitely a more over-styled design, but it works for this model in a good way. Although I agree that M elements should be reserved for full M cars only.

I own a F39 M35i. BMW put dated tech. This is where we diverge. This new one is way worse than previous gen. That rear end and side profile 🤮

As a more practical observation, the panoramic sunroof looks much smaller on the X2 vs the X1.

The grill is still too big and not traditional kidney . Plus it looks like it glows. So tacky and gaudy. Mercedes laughing all the way to the bank. Fire the designer he’s ruined BMW. Gone are the days of sexy beautiful BMW’s

I think you're watching the wrong videos then. All we ever said was this: some M design bits, like the quad pipes, should stay on full M cars. Personally, I'm a huge fan of the M240i, M340i and X3 M40i, and if you watch all of my videos, you would see that.

As stated above, BMW reps have implied a few times that BMW has no intention (at least at that time) to bring an X1 M to market and as such there is no brand to diminish. Actually, the X2 is not that bad. The front-end is nice, the side view too, it's the rear end that's a bit weird, especially the taillights.
