@6:21 - I think it can go to the *rear* wheels or all-wheel-drive. No front-drive option for X5 (only X1, X2 are FWD based).

Why the different wheel sizes front and rear? First time I’ve ever seen that. Is there a reason for it? How do you do tire rotations?

tire rotations? that's for plebs. M cars don't do tire rotations, even when wheels are the same diameter, rear wheels are always wider, because they all have rear wheel bias for driving dynamics. I think you'd be better served by standard X5, because if you have to ask this question, 600+ hp monster is not for the kind of driving you do

Awesome vehicle I would lean more towards an M2 but still nice. Of course a tidy bit for us poor folks if you want 0-60 time like that you can do it with most any $10-12k non-cruiser motorcycle. Of course you can’t carry anything but hey at least you can afford it.

0:26 0:40 Is it me or ever since the X7 came out, they made the X5 more of a compact midsize SUV? It just doesn’t have the same road presence as it used to have. It looks really mid now and not in a good way!

Really? I think it depends on the spec. Some X5’s I see on the road look really big to me and I sometimes think it’s an X7… or vice versa. But maybe they’re tryna differentiate it from each other for peoples needs

I don't think BMW has sold an X5 with a third row since they started selling the X7 in 2019. They want you to go for the X7 if you want a three row BMW SUV.

It is, and that’s absolutely fine by me if it feels and performs well. Heck most people don’t know what Alcantara really is and love it as a leather replacement.

@@ALMX5DP I’m all for consumer choices…it’s just calling it vegan leather, or synthetic leather is humorous. And there’s no way it can perform as well as real leather because it isn’t the same material underneath. If you scratch real leather, there’s just more leather underneath, or can be mended. If you scratch vinyl, you have a hole, and cannot be mended.

@@golfbuddy1969 I think the synthetic stuff can be repaired as well. Don’t know how well but I’ve heard generally it lasts a long time and feels pretty good too. Everything is subjective and I’m sure there will be purists who prefer leather but my butt isn’t that well tuned so I’m okay with the stuff.

Love the jacket, hate the car. Hard to tell the difference between a Hyundai and BMW these days…the headlights look like they were plucked straight from a 2018 Hyundai Tuscan. I wouldn’t be surprised if both brands were designed under the same roof.🤪🤮😆
