That "hoop" is a an oil lamp holder. Also, saw a brass ball on the bed head/foot board. They unscrew. The metal flake wasn't the original contents in the pharma bottle. That Stanley plane shoe is good for parts. WHOOOO! Looks like a good place to dig.

The glitter bottle was neat and reminded me of a bottle I had one time that had some silver stuff in it. Turned out it contained a high percentage of real silver powder - it was used for dental fillings back in the day. Bottle was worth the bottle plus the silver value of the contents! When pills were first being developed the really rich folks would have their pills coated with gold leaf - be nice to dig a bottle of those.

Cool finds! I unexpectedly really like the glitter. I’d like to think someone took that bottle down to the local general store so they could buy some glitter. And then turned a work of art into something gaudy. 😂 Would like to have seen the Stanley planer cleaned up. Great start to the year with a nice new place to explore!
