Thanks Kevin for another great dump adventure video. This place looks haunted and gave off bad vibes just watching it. I love that Mason jar. Never seen a square one before. I like the Coke bottle as well. Definitely early 70s, or late 60s to me. The lone marble was cool too!

I never noticed at the time, but I got a 'dead horse' vibe when watching lol

That piece of metal you found just before the metal wheel was the support bracket for that wheel and mating one. One half of an old grinding wheel bearing assembly. Recognized it immediately!

Hello Kevin. This is a awesome video to watch and Lew and I enjoyed watching it. Nice fiinds so far! Nice marble to. 🙂 Definitely go back there when you can. There should be more nice stuff to find. Hopefully you might find unbroken insulators buried in the ground. Good luck and take care,------Jeffrey Hull Jr. (Jeff & son Lew)

I've never seen an amber Pertusson before either Kevin ! Great find ! Wish that large amber bottle would have been whole. You even found a nice marble as well. Perhaps that spot will give up some more nice treasures. The luck is with you finding those horseshoes. Wishing you and Jane a great Canada Day weekend ! "Bottoms Up" ! LOL !

That second horse shoe had Caulk studs on it, used for icy conditions. And the other horse tack was called a haines, used to connect a cart or wagon to the horse! So someone for sure had a horse and buggy at one point there!
@Travelling..Bottle..Digger7 ай бұрын
Right. I have to get back there at least one more time and dig around a little deeper in a few spots. As far as the cellar hole goes, it must have been filled in and plowed over. It's a huge area, so it's possible there could be a hole somewhere else along that treeline as well.
@gregorypoole56487 ай бұрын
That was some huge field you crossed to find signs of a homestead.Did you also check out all the treeline edges as well? Looks like you could have major digging on your next visit.I wonder if the oldest site is near wherever the best water source is.Anyway, Kevin, have a Happy Canada Day!

I think, if you're doing bottle hunting video it's a good way to show how you find them. It's interesting in the different terrain how you look for spots. Down here the natural terrain has been greatly altered with roads being moved and pulp forest being put in. yeah, good luck.
@Travelling..Bottle..Digger7 ай бұрын
I agree with you. I think it's important for new diggers to see the process. Even I enjoy seeing the process other diggers use to locate the bottles.

You are lucky in N.B. On P.E.I., people are more tight-lipped about old homesteads/trash heaps. It's almost as if you are asking about their favourite fishing spot. I've been looking for one dump's location for about 6 years now. People just give me it's approximate location. I think the trash is buried deep, because my 6' probe hits nothing.
@Travelling..Bottle..Digger7 ай бұрын
The hardest ones for me to find around here are the ones around the old 1800s cellar holes. Man, those things are near impossible to find. I think one of the main reasons is that they didn't have much for trash back then, so it's like looking for a needle in a hay stack.

Thanks, man... I'm hoping to get into more marbles there. Seems odd that one lone marble and no other kids stuff around, but I'm guessing money was scarce around this spot
