Another fine review, Gary. It's certainly a worthy candidate for adding to the model swag in the near future. I agree that the fine representation of panel lines are crying out for the application of a riveting tool of some kind, if, of course, one so desires. The three 'nubs' of plastic on the spine are lights and are indeed a minor inconvenience for sure in regard to clean up. I made Monogram's B-26B many moons ago and simply shaved them off, replaced them with Micro 'Kristal Clear' and tinted them with Tamiya clear blue. Monogram's offering was a very decent scale replica on its release in 1978 and certainly superior to AMT/Ertl's B-26 but this one from ICM certainly puts them into the shade. Excellent product.

Waiting for the Flak Bait version Gary, but I find it difficult to resist any paint scheme with invasion stripes on it. 🤗 There are three nice ones in this kit.

It looks fantastic Gary. I am toying between this and the ICM Beaufort as my next large make, when I a)find space to display it and b) convince my wonderful wife that the stash of models I have on the to do list is actually a figment of our collective imagination and I have nothing left to make. I also just had a random thought about the pre-d-day paint job, as D-Day was meant to be the 5th June, would the markings have been painted on the 4th in preparation for the start that was postponed due to the storms in the channel, or was it done on the 5th as a last minute adjustment?
