Rustad was more positive and honest about jobs, businesses and industry then all of the other leaders like Eby or Furstenau. At least he is honest about how long its going to take to get the deficit and debt down in BC. No other Leader or party have stated it. The conservatives have my vote this election. Time for change.

I voted this afternoon (10/9/24) @ Elections Office of LANGLEY-WILLOWBROOK riding. No voters' list? Just a DL & my word the I haven't already voted @ another site, & no record to prove my vote was recorded & for who if machine doesn't record it/can it be erased. A business worker told me she & her daughter voted @ Advance last time & after was told they didn't count the Advance voted as they were not needed! What if the Advance were 90&% of Liberals & not NDP? Changing who is in power!

Not fair to provide funding for foreign worker training when Canadians want to up grade but compete no longer qualify for upgrading supports. Trucking class 1 funding is the example. Canadians have driven in snow and ice for decades but don’t receive supports while there are incentives for foreigners who have never driven in snow.

I drove truck in the 90s, and was a Class 1-3 instructor. I let my license lapse as I wasn't using it for the job I was doing. When that job wound down after 9 years, I was going to go for my Class 1 license again, and return to trucking. NDP in their "infinite wisdom" required I take a driving course again for $15000. A driving course that I used to teach.

In the 30+ years I worked there I was always amazed that there was such a strong want for socialist policies and leaders. The public got used to being coddled. and this is the result, a possible 180 degree shift. Maybe the next 30 years will be better.
