I got the 2RS 2025 Trax in October, and I drive around 100-150 miles a day. The car is great honestly, right now with mainly highway driving I’m averaging 34.3 mpg, would be better but I do enjoy speeding. But my options were the Trax and a Mazda cx series. The biggest reason I went with the Trax was because it was way cheaper, and that worried me, but driving it for a little over a month now, I’m happy with my choice. I can’t wait to see how it handles in the stormy snowy weathers with no AWD, but I’ve taken it “off roading” and it never got stuck, never given me issues of sliding back on the muddy hills. Overall I’d give it like an 8.5/10. .5 taken off for the stupid volume dial and 1 point taken off for no AWD

Yeah I think given the price point the features are amazing! I have an Infiniti and it doesn’t have adaptive cruise control. I would actually take the Buick. Less common than a Chevy

Agreed! Really impressive what they pack into these crossovers

We just recently bought the Trax Activ in Marina Metallic Blue. People are constantly complimenting the looks of it (especially the color!). We were in a 2018 Jeep Renegade. This costs less than that did and, other than the engine, is a total upgrade and gets better gas mileage. It rides better and has more interior room.

So making a well equipped car for less than $30k in 2024 is possible!! 😂 I like the Trax Aktiv in Cacti Green 😊

I have a 2024 Trax and love it 🎉 Ive had it since March and it’s been a great car. Highly recommend 🎉

Love the look of both cars & its affordability. Main concern is the 3-cylinder engine. How durable is it? Will it last after 50,000 miles? Don't know if I want to take a chance? I'm on the fence. Wish they come out with an AWD in the future.

Last week I got a 2025 Trax Activ, the top trim, in black with black rims. I prefer the looks of the Trax. I just lucked out because if it was the more expensive option I still would have gotten it. Great little vehicle. Nothing like my 2016 Camaro SS 6-speed with 455 HP, but fun to drive.

You should have compared the Buick to the Trax 2RS, it's got 19 inch wheels and a lot of tech for less money and is more practical. I know, I have a 2RS. Apples and Oranges

The gauge screens can be changed. Press and hold the right side scroll button for a couple seconds, then scroll to the other options and press the button again. We got a ‘24 Trax LT equipped just like that red one. I couldn’t justify the extra $2000-$2500 for the Buick though I prefer it.

I had a 2024 Trax and put 18K miles on it. Great car! Went to visit my son and rode in his new Envista and fell in love with it. Quieter, smoother, just felt like a more upscale ride. Seats were more comfortable as well. Got back home and just traded my Trax in for an Envista today. If you actually price out the 2 cars with the same features, the difference is quite a bit less than $2k.

Great value actually but with at least optional AWD it would have been a bomb 💣

Totally agree! That's why i like the Kicks. Similar price but offers AWD

how much quieter is the envista?

They are about the same. It's moreso the styling that's different

@@SchwayZ the buick marketers make much hay with their "quiet tuning" but others have said it doesn't work quite so well with this car.

I just traded in my 2024 Trax with 18K miles on it, and this was one of the primary reasons. The Envista was noticeably quieter and just felt like it rode smoother.

I can't watch the entire video right now but I wanted to warn people that these vehicles (and the Ford Fiesta) use Wet Belt timing belts. KZbin search Wet Belt timing belt and learn before spending your money. I wouldn't want Wet Belt anything inside my engine. Consider Corolla Cross hybrid. Even slightly used if budget demands it.

spoke my mind and DE 3cyl turbo, good luck with the engine life

@@jds1209 . I won't buy turbo anything. I would be really slow to buy direct injection (GDI) without port injection. I WOULD NOT buy Wet Belt anything. I would be slow to buy regular timing belt vehicle (again). 06 Odyssey my last timing belt vehicle. I like Toyota hybrids (HSD). None of this stupidity.
