Cadillac's trim level approach originally included a "Y-shaped" hierarchical structure, with Luxury trims at the bottom, for Lyriq Media viewers who are unaware.As you see on the screen now, more opulent versions followed in one direction, while sportier variants followed in the other, with the former being Premium Luxury and Platinum models and the latter featuring Sport and V-Series vehicles. However, the new Tech trim level looks to be altering that plan for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq, with the new Tech trim level now forming the base of the Y structure, replacing the Luxury trim as the foundation in the previous hierarchy. The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq trim level structure expands from the base Tech trim to Luxury and Sport trims on opposite ends of the "Y."

I can not understand why Cadillac is now pushing the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq when thousands of customers like me have already ordered the 2023 Lyriq a year ago and we can't even get it, this is ridiculous and irresponsible what a joke.

I actually expected Cadillac to do this. The Lyriq is 2 years old but they barely delivered any in 2022. They tried to use NDA to keep people quiet about issues and paid them $5000. Cadillac UNDERPRICED the Lyriq and they used the discontinuation of the 2023 to reintroduce the 2024 and fix the pricing issues. The power moonroof is $1600 - previously unavailable. They've added more features and options to push the price from $63,000 to $80,000+, but reduced the cost of some options to ensure you get in under $80,000 for the $7500 tax credit.

I just heard from my Sales Associate who advised me there would not be a 2023 Lyriq. All orders were going to be shifted to the 2024. The quality of this communication is suspect, however it is the only information I have heard.. if this is the case it would come to reason there would have to be options chosen and orders place based on color and trim options. It also might suggest the original contract the 2023 was created for would become null and void.

Recently heard the same thing from my dealer - ‘23 production ceases, all orders shifting to ‘24 model with all the various models and trims. I ordered AWD last May and now they’re using a delivery date of “next summer”. They started advertising Q4 of ‘21 - I’d say the marketing dept got way ahead of production on this one!

I just finished ordering my 2024 Lyriq SPORT 3 AWD. I should have it by June. Because I was waiting for the 2023, I've been bumped to the 2024 and I get a $5000 personal rebate aside from the $7500 tax credit.

Why don’t we figure out the delivery issues for the 2023 Lyriq, instead of getting people’s hopes up for the 2024 Lyriq? Order a 2024 Lyriq today (if possible), the way deliveries are going you’ll be lucky to see it before 2026.

Thank you for all your videos, however I think you should be clear when you quote prices as to what currency they are in. Are they USD or CAD or what? That way we don’t have to guess or assume.

@@TheNewCitizens My point is it should always be stated for clarification purposes. It’s a simple thing to add USD (when stating a USD price) to your script. I’m sure your narrator/computer voice could handle it. There are more than 20 countries that use the DOLLAR currency denomination. Thank you for your consideration.
