2024 Camry Tyre Blowing out on the highway

Toyota said they don't manufacture the tyres so it's not covered under warranty and I need to speak to Bridgestone. The car is 6 months old and purchased brand new from Toyota.
Toyota is all about customer service.

That is what happens when you drive on a flat tyre at speed. The sidewalls overheat and break up, releasing the tread section to roll off like a donut. Probably got a nail and the driver didn't notice, and I very much doubt it would be covered by warranty.

Get Michelin tyres, they're the best. All the new Mercs, Beamers and Porsches have Michelin pilot sport on them. And they sure as hell won't do this.

I'll certainly consider it for my next set of tyres, however Toyota is refusing to warranty these saying "It's expected for tyres to explode sometimes". They think I'm wrong when I told them this is clearly a manufacturing defect and not wear and tear. Initially they wouldn't even let me drop the tyre in for assessment until I submitted a legal complaint, the next day they called saying bring the tyre in for assessment. I've raised a case through Fair Trading QLD. Toyota's attitude is disgraceful, I'm sick of big companies taking advantage of consumers.

The car is 6 months old, when telling Toyota my 5 month old baby was I'm the car and the tyre blew up on the highway, their immediate response was "we don't manufacturer the tyres, speak to Bridgestone but these are unlikely to be covered for any reason" The car is 6 months old and has 17,000kms, with a service done at 16,000kms. Toyota service are awful and try to deny responsibility.

Try to contact some guy on TV and made a small clip in the news section or in some mornign show. they will crap their pants.
