2024 CF-18 Demo Team's First Show of the Season! | 2024 Comox Airshow

The 2024 RCAF CF-18 Demo Team's first show of this year's airshow season took place at the Comox Airshow. Comox is typically where the CF-18 demo teams of previous years (including this year) come to practice the demo during April and May, before the airshow season. After a few years of grey demo jet liveries, it was great to have this year's jet wearing some colourful paint to celebrate 100 years of the RCAF. The 2024 CF-18 Demo Team pilot is Capt. Caleb "Tango" Robert.

Wow, that's a stunning livery! Happy 100th anniversary Royal Canadian Airforce (RCAF)!

The coolest thing about the RCAF is that any small town in Canada can Email the public relations department and ask for some fast air demos and they get the same priority as a large metropolitan area❤

That f-18 has a particular trim set-up an it is dialed in perfectly , I don't see the Blue Angels working it like that , , Plus this was a low ceiling Air show because of the cloud's rolling in all over the place . That pilot gave everyone their money's worth definitely . Big up's to the pilot 😂 WOW !

The flying display seems more stylized this year(lots of rolls/loaded rolls between main elements). I wonder if the demo pilot is encouraged to personalize some of the finer elements. Like the unique helmet design too.

Not "showey" like the Blues. Our Hornets run on Horton's double doubles, the real cream gives higher thrust and our pilots helmets go on after the startup too, after the final Timbit is gulped down !!! Eat that Super Hornets.

@@nybotor1 As insane as they are, the Swiss don't touch the Fins and their Unlimted AoA Hornet Displays though. I've never seen a Hornet flown like the fins have in the past year since their F18s FCS software upgrades. Watch last years Fin demo at RADOM
