I test drove the 2025 AWD Equinox EV, AWD Blazer and AWD Prologue. I liked the Equinox best as I prefer the smaller size and it has a slight bump in hp to 300. I prefer the styling too. It’s unfortunate that you can’t get a premium stereo on the Equinox. That screen is huge in person. Probably a good time to buy here in the US before Trump and Elon get rid of the tax credit. I’m in a RAV4 Prime right now and the cargo area looked small to me compared to what I’m used to, but the RAV4 is a shorter car so I guess it’s in the height or they have more room in the second row.

@@Molishious Prime is great B it big you’re always trying to get as many likes on electric with it, might as well go all EV unless you do longer trips often.

@ Back in 21 there wasn’t much choice for an AWD electric SUV in my price range, but now there is a lot. My next car will definitely be a BEV as I really do enjoy driving electric and it will be rare that I’ll have to charge more than once and the majority of my trips will be covered round trip. The Prime has been an excellent gateway drug and I’d recommend it to anyone who never wants to worry about charging on a road trip for any reason. I’d have probably already bought an Ioniq 5 but Hyundai did such a good job improving the 2025 that I’m waiting for that and test driving other cars in case something even better comes along. If I was mostly price driven I’d go for the Equinox at this point as it seems like the best value.

That regen paddle is a great idea. I wish my Mach-E had it. But I'm not complaining

I was looking at the platform stablemate, the Blazer EV, but ended up buying at the other end of the family with a Cadillac Lyriq. However, I think the Equinox beats both the Blazer and Lyriq in value for dollar. If you want to get into the EV family, and dont want to go Tesla, this should at the top of your test drive list. Its a really nice vehicle.

@@thecageybee Completely agree. Tons of value and I think it has really good styling.

@EverydayReviews2022 agreed. Personally,I think it's styled much nicer than the Blazer.

@ I think so as well. The first time I saw one on the road it had a demo plate covering the Chevy bow tie and I didn’t even know what it was. Lights almost had a Porsche look to them.

Is that recessed led headlight design a good idea for winter weather? I can imagine it getting packed with snow because led lights don’t generate enough heat to melt anything?

I love your reviews, but I think you need to put a bit more effort on the editing. For instance, you showed us the entertainment screen from a camera behind your left shoulder, away from the screen and in one single shot. This is a constructive criticism and this is my humble opinion only.

@@cassiocm thanks. Unfortunately on this video I had a bunch of footage including lots of detailed shots that were lost due to a bad SD card. Appreciate the feedback.

Turd is slow, whether driving or charging and it is way too heavy. Chevy build quality is always suspect.

Did they really nail it or will it turn out to be like the rest of the unreliable crap they build? Time will tell. Once that new shiny initial build quality wow wears off….
