2024 Chevrolet Traverse Z71 at the Detroit Auto Show

Chevrolet is in the process of updating their entire lineup, with the brand's switch to electrified vehicles, but that does not mean we don't get new gas-powered vehicles in the process.
This is the brand's new 3-row crossover in the 2024 Traverse. With boxier styling and this new Z71 trim, Chevy is leaning in to what has worked for other automakers and hopes to cash in with this clean new look. What are your thoughts?

the reason its locked is because it is not ready for production and the pieces will fall off or do not work.

It’s locked for the general public for that reason, yes. I’m sad it was locked for media too.

Interior looks like a nice refresh but not a fan of the boxier truck look. I definitely think the 2022 and 2023 models exteriorly looked better.

Chevy should change the name back to Blazer. This is more of a Blazer than what Blazer is. Imagine dropping an lt2 V8 in that thing.

BACK to blazer? This is platform (three row crossover) has only dated back to 2009. It has never been associated with the blazer. I agree that it is more “blazer” than the blazer (which I think should have been named nomad). V8 swaps are always cool. But I’d rather swap it in a Colorado since that’s rwd and this is a fwd-biased platform with a weaker AWD system.

Same size as the old Traverse but more boxy and truckish so no worries!
