love your no bs approach to reviews with all the necessary details (no double pain windows, for example). quick question on how you would compare the ZR2 interior, comfort, ride and handling to the Tremor. Not comparing the engines as I’ll most likely get the 5.0 in Ford but the Duramax in the Chevy. thanks!

@@Repz06 if your asking me I have had mine since Oct 2022. Its been great so far no problems. Have had dozens of trucks and this is my first new Chevy ever. I'm really impressed with it and the 6.2 gas 10 speed combo is a winner. I have towed my travel trailer in the mountains with it at a combined weight of 14,900 lbs which is just under the 15,000 lbs recommended limit and it handles that just fine. Off road it goes wherever you point it. The DSSV shocks give it an amazing ride for a truck. If I had to pick on it the seats are harder than I would like but they have softened up a little with use so not bad now.

I think it was really smart for GM to introduce the active exhaust system for the Silverado and Sierra models. It saves me a lot of money, time, and labor for an aftermarket exhaust system such as AWE. It might not look as cool or sound as good as AWE, but for someone that doesn't like chopping up car parts, it's probably for the better. This is what I would do if I got my hands on one, just leave the exhaust system at stock. I see it as an absolute win by GM, which is rare these days. There is so much I love about this truck and if I ever needed a full size pickup truck, this is the one I would go for. Obviously, there are still problems with this truck, but the important thing is as long as you properly take care of it and maintain it, you should get great reliability out of it.

@fit4ya1975 more comfortable and slightly bigger. Also the seats have cooling which is really nice. And no more center console knob sticking into your right leg lol

@@gibsonatorhb6691 Cool, I miss the seats in my 2016, the ZR2 look very similiar. I have a 2020 with the column shifter. I love the truck, but the seats are horrible, been dealing with them for the past 4 years. Im hesitant to sell it due to the crazy interest rates.

@fit4ya1975 I got a great trade in value and 1.9% otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it. They made the deal to good to pass on.

Was gonna check out the new 2500HD for Christmas. Gonna wait out the roof separation issue now. Whether or not I'll purchase a GM product will be very dependent on how Mary Barra handles this issue. So far, the fix is unacceptable. It seems every one of the Big 3 American truck manufacturers is being written off my list. Perhaps a Toyota Tundra will have to suffice.

any noticeable road noise from those tires? it didn't seem like it in the video and from what you said those tires make it a softer ride. Thanks for the content

There’s a VERY subtle hum if the stereo is off but really nothing too bad. Wouldn’t stop me from buying one or from me putting the same tires on my truck 👍🏼

I own one of these trucks. Tire noise is more noticeable at lower speeds up to say about 50 mph. After that not as much. Noise has increased a little from when they were new vs now with 20,000 on them. Nothing I would be concerned about though. Awesome truck I love mine.

@@captainrawnany issues with the truck itself? Warranty issues?
@captainrawn5 ай бұрын
@@sean47w7 Hey Sean no I haven't had any problems at all with the truck so far with 22,000 on it. I've worked it pretty hard on a few occasions towing a 7500 lbs travel trailer in the Mountains including rough off road bush trails with it in tow that required low range and lockers engaged. Was less than 100 lbs from the maximum GCWR of 15000 lbs according to the truck stop scale. If you're interested fuel economy is typically 9 to 11 mpg with that load depending on wind and 19 to 22 empty hwy depending on wind. City 17 to 18 if I'm not heavy footed. Beefs are I don't like the design of the shifter, seats took a little while to soften up and the entertainment system was a bit tedious at first. Used to it now though. The ride with the DSSV shocks is fantastic. First new GM truck I ever owned and so far so good I would buy it again. Mine is a 2022 6.2 gas in desert sand metallic. It's an easy color to maintain always looks clean. Good luck if you decide to buy one. Cheers from Alberta Canada.

After owning one for 8 months , three of those months at the dealership waiting for parts . No compensation from GM ! Ordered a TRD PRO last weekend . Funny that an extended warranty for GM to extended to 60 000 miles and five years is the same as Toyota for 100 000 miles and seven years ! And Toyota comes with a bunch of complementary services like pil changes etc. Foes to show GM has no faith in there garbage that they sell
