This is a good car with good engine, necessary features, space, safety and decent mileage. Close to perfect car.

What a car , took a test drive yesterday , I can say in all caps "BASALT IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE RIDE QUALITY CAR BELOW 22 LAKHS". No car comes close to the ride quality of basalt.

Thanks for a good review. Right product, just a cruise need to be added. I have driven it & told the dealership to contact me if cruise is added anytime soon then I am surely buying one. Ride handling & power are just perfect, drives very well, just one would want at this price point👍👍.

Suggestion- Citroen needs to utilise whole Fiat-Jeep-Citroen space (Sales, Spares, Service) together. I have had a conversation with eC3 owner a while ago. He was impressed with ride quality and overall package. It needs to penetrate through tier 2 market.

I live in Germany, 1 out of 5 are Citroen here. It fares pretty well with wide range of models. I did drive this car last month, in India. See this car in person to believe it. Looks class apart! The design is classy and commands attention, while the driving experience is where it truly shines. It handles like a 50-lakh car, effortlessly gliding over undulations with its impressive suspension. However, at ₹18.40 lakh for the top-end automatic in Bangalore, I expected a few more features to complete the package. That said, it’s a beautiful car with exceptional road manners and refinement. Still, will I go for it? No! Hybrid engine is a big miss!

Citroen should also focus on commercial segment to increase sales which will support volume and personal vehicle sales like maruti, tata and Hyundai. They need to increase showroom and service centre. People will not buy if they don't have service centre near them even if the product is good.

@@amolsarode1 pricing make sense if you look at the base AT model, they're offering AT from plus 1.2 Turbo at 12.91 ex-showroom, equivalent manual (plus turbo) is priced at 11.61 ex-showroom. Base model Basalt You got a naturally aspirated engine also less features compared to plus variant

Citroen should've waited a bit and launced their brand in India with Basalt and eC3. With all the bells and whistles. It would've got a decent start like the MG. Now all the cars in their stable are a sales dud and most likely the brand would be going the way like their sister concerns Fiat and Jeep did.

Trust me I purchased altroz over amaze as it had cruise control. I have only used it less than 5%. You cant use cruize control much. We Dont have infrastructure where cruise control can be used freely. It activates after 60 kmph. Most of the time On highways also you cant activate it as highways are crowded nowa days. Its usefull once or twice in a year very long trip

Yar 300 km ?? Really?? What about them who often travel 1000 km a day with their cars manufactured in 2013-14-15? It looks now 300 kms are a vast distance to cover..means the car is poor
