I also have a v6 u can feel a pretty strong kick u just need to be in the power band if u keep it in manual mode and first gear and hover at 4000rpm then press accelerator fully it will surprise you try it and let me know

Yes true, if it is in manual it is more responsive. But never do that in the first gear brother, at least have it in second gear :)
