I am a minimalist, but how could I resist? An American classic! It is a Michigan assembled car with a Michigan built engine, too. Take a deep bow, Michigan craftpersons at Jefferson North assembly and Trenton engine! Has real style, face it. No turbo, no direct injection..likely less headaches. The other one you tested looked equally smart in Octane Red. I would be concerned about the stability of Stellantis..remember, we bailed these people out before at time of extreme need. Well, my dream is over..back to my trusty Honda. Fun test..might be a great buy with enough money on the hood or a great lease deal. Anyway, I will be envious of the future owner.. take good care of this Michigan made beauty. Take meticulous care of it, predict it will serve you well! Great road test..you are a"pro", no nonsense experienced car guy. Not many good ones out there, unfortunately!👍

Just purchased a 22 but I like how there is a pocket in the 24

I have a 22 gt+. Seems like you have to pay more and get less standard equipment in a 24. No phone charger( pretty useless anyway). No subwoofer for Alpine sound system. No vanity lights. Tilt mirrors. Cost cutting at its finest. 3.6 v6 provides great power. Gas mileage is good. Very comfortable long distance cruiser

I have the 22 GT+ and cannot be happier with my choice even though it took almost five months to build. I plan to buy this beautiful machine once the lease is over. My lifetime experience with American and foreign automobiles is “you treat it nice, it will last longer with less issues”.

I just got a 24 GT plus with blacktop package. I was surprised those items you mention weren’t included since my grand Cherokee had them. But it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. How much did you pay in 2022 for it?

@@lesley643 oh ok. So you paid mrsp? The msrp on mine was $51k and I was able to get it down to $43,800. I was very happy with that.

The manual says to use Premium so running on regular is news to me. Wouldn’t it burn gas faster using regular ?

@@WhoShotYa3X the 5.7 hemi can use 87 octane but the manual says they recommend 89 octane.

I was stuck between a GT plus and a RT plus. Basically identical except the engine. Ended up with the GT plus with blacktop package and I’m very happy with it.

@@mariadeangelo155 no lane assist. But I also don’t believe any of the models come with that. It does have fold away mirrors including the driver side mirror is auto dimming which I love.

Not powerful enough for the huge suv. They need to put the hurricane engine in there.
